This plug-in provides functionality to drive digital displays from Rock Content Channels. Each content channel gets one or more schedules applied to it via a Defined Value. A display device is registered in the system and is configured for which of those Defined Values it will display for. Each slide is cycled through on the display and the entire list is looped forever. When changes are made to the content channel or schedule the display will automatically detect those changes and update itself.
Can use nearly any web browser in full-screen mode as a kiosk device with content driven by Rock. Embedded devices like the Intel Compute Stick can be used as small and cheap kiosk hardware. Or you can simply reuse your old mac minis that are laying around (though be warned that the 3D transitions to take some horsepower to be smooth).
Schedule one or more kiosk devices to show different content channels at different times of the week. The content channel item start and expire dates are honored so you can setup new slides to appear automatically once the date has been reached.
