Prepros and wwwroot folder

I've watched the themes video and I am trying to load the wwwroot folder into prepros so I can change the theme but It is giving me the error that Prepros cannot load a root drive as a project. I don't have acces to the full rock installation as I am not the administrator for our whole network so the wwwroot folder is the highest level of folder I have. Could this by why it won't work for me? Are there individual files withing this folder that I could upload in order to compile the themes without loading the whole thing?

I know its an old question, but just in case ... for those sites/themes that we aren't using the built in compiler and you want to use Prepros for, (using  the Stark theme as an example), just put the Theme's style folder into Prepros.  For Stark, that would be RockRMS/Themes/Stark/Styles.  There is now a built-in compiler.  It's under Home>CMS config > Themes.  You may click the compile button from there. From my experience though, the compiler does not report errors, such as using an undeclared variable, the way that Prepros does.
