How to increase the width of web pages on external site for wider screens

When using the default Stark theme for external site there is a lot of whitespace on both sides when viewing on laptop or wider screens.  Is there a setting or configuration that can easily change this.

    You'll likely want to look into creating your own theme, using the default Stark theme as a starting point (making a copy of it) and then adjusting the layouts to expand the width. See: The Website Manual
