Adding second Group Viewer page and viewing by specific Group Type

I have made two group viewer pages like the original, I am trying to make one strictly for a certain group type (preferably a Check-in Group Type). I open the block settings in the Group Tree and I checkmark a specific group type that I want shown. I click save and refresh the page and yet all groups under all group types still show up not just the one. I know I can do root group but I'm not wanting one specific group I'm wanting all that are under that Group Type.

What I've done is import all check-in activities and Ministries from F1. Ministries are set as the Check-in Group Type like Weekly Service Check-in. The activities from F1 are the Check-in Areas. RLC Groups from F1 are the groups themselves.  I have gone into the database and set these Group Types, Areas, and Groups as visible in the group list and navigation. When they are made visible only the groups show (they aren't placed under their area like a heirarchy -- which I can kinda understand because the group viewer is made of groups that use a group type to define it). I go into the block settings for the tree and check the Group Types I want. When I refresh, it hasn't filtered the groups.

I am using v14 still, so there may be a fix already in a newer version and I'm just behind the times right now. Is this functionality working in the newer version or is there something else I need to do in order to filter by Group Type?

(On a side note, there are a ton of group types going through this method and I'm not a huge fan of this many but it is the best 1:1 for right now.)

    Brandon,

I'm experiencing the same problems using v1.2 so I put in a bug report.  I'll let you know when I hear something back!

Thanks. I have done a couple more fresh conversion since then so I haven't recreated the pages to test it again. Thanks for letting me know!
