How to link an external website for Registration

How do I use an external link in the "URL Slug" in a Registration group link?  Is that possible?

It says I need to configure blocks on my site use this key.  Is there a step by step procedure in a manual that explains how do this?

How to use an external URL link for registration when linking a group.  I would like for those registering for a particular event to click on register and it take them to an external website.  Below is the issue I get when I try putting a link in the URL Slug.

Is there a step by step procedure you guide me to in one of the Rock Manuals that could help me.

    Hi Chuck, 

    The URL Slug is related to your registration and will be used as the URL for your registration. For example your registration page looks like this: https://your-church.org/registration/[URL SLug].

    I don't think you can add the URL Scheme (http://) in the URL Slug. If you want to use an external registration in an event, you can either add that link in the Description or use the Details URL in your Event to take the user to that outside website.
