Package Description

Graphit turns the numbers already in Rock into dashboards your whole team can read. Connect Rock once, choose the measurements you care about, and Graphit keeps attendance, giving and ministry trends up to date without anyone rebuilding a report every week.

What you get

  • One-click, administrator-approved connection. A Rock Administrator chooses Link Rock to Graphit on Admin Tools > Installed Plugins > Graphit and approves the connection in the browser. No REST keys or webhook URLs to copy.
  • Your existing Rock metrics, in Graphit. Graphit reads your metrics and their values, campuses, service times, group types, giving accounts and step programs, and maps them to your Graphit organization.
  • New metrics that live in Rock. With your permission, Graphit creates standard measurements as real Rock metrics, visible in Rock's own Metrics pages. Graphit only changes metrics it created, and an administrator can switch metric writes off at any time.
  • Data entry from Rock. Staff and volunteers who are signed in to Rock can enter weekly numbers through an embedded Graphit form. Each entry is attributed to that Rock person.

Privacy and control

  • Graphit's purpose is numbers: counts, sums and trends. Addresses, phone numbers, birth dates, photos and individual gift amounts are never sent, and no names or email addresses are read from your people records.
  • The one exception is data entry: when a signed-in Rock user submits an embedded Graphit form, that person's name and email are sent with the entry so it can be attributed to them.
  • Some sources send Rock record IDs (for example a Person ID with an attendance date) so Graphit can count distinct people without double counting. These IDs mean nothing outside your Rock database.
  • Only members of RSR - Rock Administration can connect, disconnect or approve Graphit. Disconnecting revokes every token immediately.
