Package Description

The Check-in Tools plugin provides several blocks that assist with configuring and troubleshooting check-in for your organization. Several of the blocks included in this package were presented at RX2016.

Associated Devices

This block goes on the Location Detail page and enables the user to manage which devices are associated with a location. It provides a list of devices tied to the location shown, and when you enter edit mode it allows you to add or remove additional devices. It's a great time saver when you're adding a new location and need to quickly connect a bunch of kiosks to it.

Check-in Summary

This block gives an overview of the locations that are open for check-in groups during a given set of schedules. It displays several of the filter properties tied to the group out-of-box, and you can add more like Age Ranges or Special Needs in the block settings. We use this block to quickly spot gaps in our configuration or room routing problems that can occur when a room is closed. NOTE: This block requires a new feature in Rock V6 before it will work correctly.

Check-in State Debugger

This is a simple debugging tool for developers and super-admins that dumps the CheckInState object and a few other details to the screen when enabled. Just drop the block on your check-in page of choice, then enable the debug block setting or pass ?debug=true in the query string to see the data dump.
