If SMS is enabled, it would be awesome to be able to text parents from the Check-In Manager.  Currently we can look up  a kid, and the parents' phone numbers show up in the check-in manager. The links are phone call links, though. If we could click-to-text (using the official SMS number instead of a volunteer's cell) it would be awesome. For extra bonus points, it would be great if we could pre-build a default message.

Some enhancements we would like to see to the new(er) Check-in registration:- Allow users the option  to add new families before searching for the family. This eliminates the awkwardness of having to have a family say/spell their name multiple times to the registration person, once to search for it and again to enter it.- Give an option to remove the marital status from this block as we don’t ask wether they are married or not during this time and would rather not have the block input info that is incorrect/defaulted.- We enter the adults first into the system  before children...

This is a request to enhance the Calendar GUI Area so that within the settings for the Event Occurrence (figure1), the existing "Location Description" field should provide the option to choose Onsite or Offsite.  The objective would allow use of existing data if the location is 'onsite' OR the flexibility to key in the name (such as a local event center) and address for an 'offsite' event.Onsite (figure2) would present a Named Location selector that pulls in the address of the named location.  If a room is selected, it pulls in the address of the building, if no building exists,...

The ability to have multiple discount codes on one registrant. So if someone registers as an early bird and a code is auto applied and then they need a scholarship which is another code we can have both attached to a registration.

We use other iPad "kiosk" type apps that include some power management features such as overriding the system sleep settings to keep the screen on and going into a low power mode and dimming the screen when no schedules are active.  The app that does this best is Teem (conference room management). These settings would need to be centrally controlled from the server.

The Family Pre-Registration block has only the ability to launch a single "New Family" workflow type, which passes the Family as the entity. By contrast, the Kiosk Registration Mode supports two workflow types: Per Family, and Per-Person. We would like to see the per-person workflow type added to the Family Pre-Registration block as well. Currently, using the Family Pre-Reg block, if you want to launch a workflow that "does things" (like set Person Attributes) per person in the new family, this is very cumbersome due to the single WF type that, while passing a Family Entiity and giving you a list...

Couldn't see the link to make recommendations to docs? Before the para"Now let's open up SQL Server Configuration Manager. Expand the SQL Server Network Configuration item and click on Protocols for MSSQLSERVER. Right click on TCP/IP and click on Enable."it would be helpful to explain where to find SQL Server Configuration Manager.  Suggestion:You can run SQL Server Configuration Manager from Start > Run.   For SQL Server 2016 run SQLServerManager13.msc, for SQL Server 2017 run SQLServerManager14.msc.  Refer to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/relational-databases/sql-server-configuration-manager?view=sql-server-2017 for instructions on the name of the file for other version of SQL Server.

I needed to register both my kids for camp but they are in different 'events' in rock.  This meant I had to go through the process of registering and then all the way through payment for each event individually.  Since I only wanted to pay the required deposit of $50 for each, this meant that the deposit payment for the second kid's camp was declined because it exactly matched the $50 charge just a few minutes before.  From a user experience end this was extra work to go through the payment process twice and then extra negative user experience because I couldn't...

When working with an Entity Attribute and specifying the Entity Type's Qualifier Value, it does not appear that you can specify multiple values. It would be very helpful to be able to specify a delimited list of values. As a usage example, when creating an Entity Attribute for a Group Type Role's Icon, I currently have to create an entity attribute for each Group Type I want to enable the Icon functionality for.

We have a lot of parents registering their students for events who don't recognize that the "Family Member" we're asking for is the student, not the parent. They wind up registering themselves for camp instead of their kids. The current text is fixed in RockWeb.Blocks.Event.RegistrationEntry.ascx as the Label attribute of the ddlFamilyMembers control. If this could either be changed to "Person to Register" or made somehow configurable, it would save us having to repair almost half of our registrations.(I recognize that from a developer perspective this control is listing family members and seems aptly named. I'm proposing that we see this...
