As of v19.0, the RegistrationTemplateDetail block no longer assigns security authorizations to the individual who creates a registration template, or adds roles such as Event Registration Administrators, Staff Members, or Staff Like Members.
Instead, the block now relies on the inherited security model introduced in v17. This means the individual—or their role—must have Edit access to the selected Registration Template or its Category to edit the template. This update improves consistency and helps prevent the creation of unnecessary security authorization records.
No configuration is required, and no existing security authorizations have been removed. However, you may want to review which roles have access to each top-level Registration Template Category.
Note: As part of the update, the RSR - Event Registration Administration role was granted Edit and Administrate permissions on all top-level Registration Template Categories to preserve existing access..
