To resolve Issue #6172 – Group Schedule Confirmation Records Response Prematurely, Rock v17.1 introduces a new Scheduling Confirmation Email (One Button) template designed to prevent premature responses caused by certain email security tools that automatically open links. All Group Type's Schedule Confirmation Communication settings will be updated to use this new template.
The new template includes a single “Required: Confirm or Decline” button which directs individuals to the updated Group Schedule Confirmation page.

On the confirmation page, individuals will see options to:
- Accept All
- Decline All
- Customize in Schedule Toolbox (for those who prefer to respond to individual assignments)
The content mimics the original email but shifts the action to remove the risk of unintended responses triggered by email clients that pre-load or auto-click links.
As part of this change, if the Group Type or block settings require a Reason for Declining, that requirement will now be enforced before the individual’s response is saved.
Note
The original Scheduling Confirmation Email template is still available if you wish to revert to the previous template/behavior. However, please be aware of the risks associated with some email environments that auto-open links in emails.
